Straight Outta Compton

When you say the word music the last thing people think is the subliminal messages, hardships, and feelings the artist has put into their work.  “Our art is a reflection of our reality” a quote given by Ice Cube in the movie Straight Outta Compton is a perfect representation of these hardships and feelings one goes through to make a certain kind of music.  I feel that by this quote Ice Cube meant that people hear the music they make and think of angry black men trying to fight the system.  Which is not what N.W.A intended their music was meant to be an eye-opener, a chance for others who haven’t lived in Compton to see just how tough times were.  Every day police brutalized the minorities, and used their prejudice misconceptions to excuse their actions.  Whites automatically assume that African Americans are in the wrong in the event of a crime and even go as far to say that police brutalization of minorities is acceptable in certain crimes.  “Nigga’s With Attitude” made it their business to feed off of the wrong-doings of the majority and turn that raw power into an effort to change the world they lived in.  Ideas are bulletproof; you can’t touch it or kill it.  Ideas are like fire, with enough oxygen you’ve got a full scale change.

 “…A reflection of our reality”, N.W.A. rapped about change, about standing up against oppressors no matter the cost.  This was their reality, a time when the minorities of Compton could live without being discriminated against, and brutalized for their color.  People often saw this attempted movement as defiance to law, which isn’t exactly the case.  N.W.A.’s song “F*** the Police” led most minorities to rioting which wasn’t what was actually intended, the group intended on making people see they were being oppressed and wanted people to stand up against this peacefully.  Why exactly are blacks always the ones who are judged for standing up for what they believe, because they are rioting or because they are black?  I believe that if whites were oppressed and began rioting no one would bat an eyelash because they are white.  Every white has a prejudice towards blacks no matter how minute and therefore see a problem with blacks trying to get equality.

 N.W.A. wanted to end this racial block, and bring people together for a common cause.  Sadly their message was confused by the common people who understood the message to condone violence.  Just for clarification I am in no way, shape, or form, defending African Americans by claiming they were in the right by rioting to express their concern with minority discrimination.  I believe that discrimination of a minority is based off of previous actions and behaviors that are direct representations of a person’s personality and morality.  There are much simpler and more productive ways to protest police brutality than blowing up your neighborhood.  Often-times peaceful protests go much further than violent ones, the message sent by a calm and collected attitude makes a greater impression.  In my opinion this is no different than the Muslim extremists blowing everything up in an attempt to appease their God.  It is ignorant, childish, and shouldn’t be tolerated by any race.

 African Americans claim to be the most oppressed race and the most discriminated against race, which is absolutely ridiculous.  Certain places require certain actions to balance the negative attitudes and actions of a minority.  I am no way condoning police brutality, but if someone is breaking the law, regardless of color they need to be punished.  Usually the reputation given is a reputation earned, people don’t just develop an idea that someone is bad, there are often facts that they have witnessed or heard that influence their judgement.  It is completely acceptable to judge a criminal because they have earned the reputation of being a lawless individual; however it is unacceptable to judge a black individual in a drug neighborhood.  For whatever reason African Americans expect to receive no judgement for the lifestyle they live or the reputation they have earned. 

African Americans have made whites their scapegoat for years, acting as if the world owes them something for unfair treatment.  Yes, It was bad, no it wasn’t fair, and no we aren’t going to give you caviar and a silver spoon.  Suck it up, life is cruel, mean, and nasty, sometimes things happen in this world that we don’t agree with; sometimes an entire race suffers due to the ignorance of another.  The Irish and Asians were taken to American to work on the railroad, treated absolutely terrible, and given a poor wage.  Rather than getting mad and protesting for equality they worked even harder and through their actions made a fair environment for themselves.  African Americans are the exact opposite, they feel they should be able to do the least and receive the most.

Now that both sides have been analyzed I feel that despite the police brutality the African Americans were in the wrong.  Rioting, drugs, race wars, these things have earned them a reputation with no respect and therefore you reap what you sow.  “Our Art is a Reflection of our Reality” is a conflicted way of saying that through our songs you can feel the sadness.  You can hear the sorrow in our voice, due to the reality we have earned.  Through our actions a dilemma has been reached and has developed into a vicious cycle of hatred and unfairness.  The blacks will always hate the whites because of the constant judgement they have earned through poor choices.  Gunnar Myrdal was correct in believing that racism is a cycle and it will always exist, because whites will always judge, and blacks will always hate the judgement.    African Americans hope to one day not be discriminated against because of their actions, but until then “F*** The Police” is the loudest voice they possess to express their hatred of unfairness.

How Poverty Impacts Students

In a recent test it has been scientifically proven that low test scored directly relate to a child's financial stability.  I for one, do not buy into this theory.  A child who truly wants to learn and succeed will stop at nothing to accomplish what they wish.  Will it be difficult to succeed under inadequate conditions?  Of course it will.  Those who are saying poverty is the reason they have bad grades is like blaming a Twinkie for making you fat.  It is a cop-out, it is an excuse to try as little as you can and be pitied.  The God's honest truth of the matter is life is a hard, evil place and only the strong will survive.  Everyone who is hindered by circumstance will get absolutely no where in life.  My circumstances were never ideal, but here I am, college bound with A's and B's.  The world we live in has made it acceptable to blame whoever or whatever is standing in your way of success when actually there is no one to blame but yourself for laziness and lack of effort.  Whatever you want in this world you must earn with blood, sweat and tears, not given to you for being pitied.

The White Ghettos (Appalachian Hillbillies)

The highest wage of a coal miner ranges anywhere from 25-75 dollars an hour.  Coal mining jobs aren’t just limited to “Grunts” some are Foreman- making around 45-50/hour, Electricians- making around 30-37/hour, Operators- Making anywhere from 20-35/hour.  The people range anywhere from Respectable, hard workers to sunken faced crack heads.  The drug users were often the ones who did crimes like: theft, extortion, Food Stamp fraud, etc.  The Author refers to the Appalachians as a “Big White Ghetto” because that is exactly what it is, the Slums of American with drug use, and crime, committed by hillbilly white people.  I have absolutely no clue where the Pepsi plays any part in this unless it was intended to be a slang term for Black Tar Heroin.  Assuming it is the drink, people where I am from drink more Beer, Mtn. Dew, and Dr. Pepper.  Most of the cops in Nicholas County were crooked, and paid off by drug dealers to turn a blind eye towards their illegal lifestyle.  Nearly every store you stop at there is a brand new Cadillac Escalade parked in a handicapped space, and the owner of this vehicle inside buying food with food stamps.  These individuals are completely healthy, but draw welfare and disability because they are lazy.  This article was a surprisingly accurate description of the Appalachian Hillbillies.

Anyone who votes for Bernie Sanders is absolutely clueless as to what exactly he stands for.  Sanders is a firm believer in Socialism, and for those of you who are unaware it means free college, and a fixed income rate for everyone.  I know right now you are thinking this is brilliant, but here is why it isn't.  College degrees are how Americans get a special skill leading to a job with excellent pay; the college attendee will pay large sums of money and countless hours to acquire his desired degree.  What will happen when it is free?  Everyone will get a college degree, making the entire college degree system useless, it will be nothing more than a piece of paper paid for by your hard earned dollars.  Once everyone has a degree the only way you will be able to make any money at all is to join a trade school and learn a skill such as welding, or mechanic work.  Due to the new socialist government even with this job you will only be middle class and whatever extra exists in your paycheck the government will take to distribute to those who did not make as much as you.
Sales tax increases, higher income tax, and fixed income are the only thing that will happen if Bernie is elected president.  He is a moron, he is not what the country needs as a leader.  Socialism is very similar to communism in a sense that the government is controlling how much you can make and dispersing it as they see fit.  If you are unaware how that worked out for Russia, and Germany you should not be allowed in the voting booth.  Unfortunately the same individuals who are voting for Sanders are related to those who spit on Vietnam heroes upon arrival on U.S. soil.  The children of these Vietnam activists grew up to be just like they're parents, liberal, pot smoking, hippies.  I am not sure if Americans are aware of this but, Love is not the answer; It is blood, sweat, and determination.  Democracy to the fullest extent, Extremist conservative, republican leaders, who will stop at nothing to ensure every American is able to enjoy our constitutional rights.  Barrack Obama was not the answer, neither is Bernie Sanders.  Wake up America.

Freddie vs. Society

                Freddie Gray was an African American male whom grew up in less than desirable conditions in Baltimore.  Is it possible that society is failing individuals?  The answer is yes, society fails people every day, and no one bats an eyelash.  However as soon as an African American suffers the same as the whites it is police brutality, or unfair government actions.  Sadly this is the reality of America, people who don’t succeed, suffer.  The Irish immigrants were despised when they migrated to America, but never once did they declare an unfair disadvantage; they already knew exactly what it was.  Instead of whining and draining the system dry them stood up, put on their big boy panties and contributed to the growing economy.  Freddie Gray was a known drug dealer in known drug distribution territory while in possession of a knife.  The police had probable cause to arrest Gray, who I don’t imagine was handcuffed peacefully; the spinal injuries could have been from a number of things.  It was claimed that in Gray’s blood results there were seven times the safe levels of lead in his blood which is known to cause birth defects, spinal instability, heart complications, and many more life threatening illnesses.  Perhaps Gray’s body had reached its’ limit and the takedown from the authorities was enough to destroy his spinal cord the deterioration of spinal fluid is another side effect of being exposed to high levels of lead.  Now other blacks are rioting saying Gray was wrongly accused and police were abusing their power.  How exactly does that work?  An individual sells drugs, possesses a knife, and flees from the police and is forcefully hand cuffed and thrown into the cruiser.  Foul play isn’t the case in my opinion it is African Americans looking for a hand out, they want to be given the world on a silver platter because due to slavery and unfair treatment they belief they are owed something.  I am strongly against police brutality as long as that is the correct term and action.  Fleeing the authorities, selling drugs, and other punishable acts police brutality is then simply called police doing their job.  Their job is to arrest wrong-doers, and if you are doing wrong they have every right to use necessary force.

Teacher Accused of Having 3 Children in Her Trunk Says She Was Keeping Them 'Safe'

                Adriana James, a 33 year old woman was accused of transporting nine children, three of which in her trunk to “keep them safe”.  Adriana hosted a kind of child get-together at her home, as a sign of good nature.  She never did anything out of the way or made any kind of an inappropriate advance; however felt the need to transport children whom she was not the parent to.

                Outside of a Speedway gas station a witness says to have seen James with children in the car and 3 coming out of the trunk.  Not only was there a witness but several security footages showing exactly what happened.

                James was arrested on three-counts of reckless endangerment which in my opinion isn’t enough.  When Adriana James was arrested a parent was called named Regina Rogers whom upon arrival said to have seen the children incredibly shaken up and scared.

                What kind of a sick individual takes children on a joy ride, three in the trunk, and the parents have no clue?  Why are people like this allowed to be around children?  Perhaps there was a good reason, maybe there actually was a danger to the children.  I personally believe the only danger to the children was Adriana.  Without more evidence supporting the claims of Adriana James, I am forced to assume she was not mentally stable enough to be around children.

Personal Beliefs on White Superiority-

Do whites honestly have a superiority issue?  Well, of course they do and this is going to come off as one sided and even racially biased, but they should.  Whites don’t seek other countries citizenship, they don’t illegally go oversees or across borders, because they are content in being white.  Whites shouldn’t necessarily have superiority issues but “this is my country syndrome” why in God’s green Earth should whites bend over backwards to accommodate immigrants and illegals?  This is not Subway, you can’t have it your way.  America was founded on one thing and one thing only, white beliefs, granted that may have been Irish, German, Nordic and Spain’s beliefs but the beliefs joined together into something everyone can agree on.  Sadly, now whites are the minority in a country they built.  Immigrants come from Mexico, China and god knows where else and don’t even know how to speak English!  America is a democracy for “the people” not for whoever manages to find their way into the U.S.

                So yes, there is a “Superiority” issue.  Next topic.  Who are mass shootings most likely to be?  Well whoever is the angriest at the world, of course?  Every day whites are accused of racial profiling and bigotry, well I am curious as to what race said whites were the most mentally unstable and the most likely to shoot a bunch of kids.  The tables have turned.  Whites are no longer the judger, they are the judged.  The connection between this and all the accommodations listed above is that Americans, no the real Americans the ones who didn’t sneak into the U.S. or run away from a war ridden country, are bending over backwards and are taking a kick in the face every day because they are too scared to stand up and send them back.  Why is it America’s responsibility to take care of each country’s rejects?  Give them food, shelter, and whatever else they want.  This is no longer the land of opportunity it is they land of poverty and diversity, we are seen as weak and spineless by every other country because we practically just gave the country to whomever asked the nicest. 

                Last topic, What is the influence of the NRA?  Uhm….None?  Honestly what has the NRA done?  Sit in the corner with their stockpile of guns and ammo and watch patiently.  Wow, didn’t they help a lot?  Whites are the minority, Whites are mad, and lonely, and scared.  We are literally on the verge of extinction because of every race dabbling in the other, very few people are pure white.  I know what you’re thinking, “Why does this matter what is wrong with racial mixing?”  My response to this is nothing, it is the principle of it, the fact that you no longer have to have fought in the Korean war to have a ½ White ½ Asian child, you just look in your backyard for your neighbor Miss Wuu who couldn’t understand if you wanted to have kids or make her rice because she only speaks Chinese.  It is no wonder why whites are going crazy and shooting everyone.  What will happen in the future when whites are the minority?  Well my friend, we are in the future, and we are the minority.  Granted, it will get worse, but more than likely we will be nonexistent.  Politically, we will be a completely non-violent, all accepting, society who would rather share their individual beliefs than beat the tar out of those who disagree.  Gays will be allowed to kiss and touch each other in public, blacks will be allowed to rape all the white girls they want and Asians will be allowed to eat all the fried rice they please.  Yes, this is coming off as stereotypical and mildly racist but it is the God’s honest truth.  If you are in an ally way and see a figure would you like to assume it is a black guy?  Probably not because of all the stereotype surrounding that race.  What I am trying to say is, I am white and I am fed up of being the minority in our own country.  There are rules, and regulations for us, the whites have to follow them such as you must pay taxes and have a valid driver’s license and pay insurance name one Mexican you know or have heard of that is legal.  Exactly.  You don’t, because they fly under the radar so they don’t get deported chances are you have seen hundreds of Mexicans in your life but personally know none.  This isn’t a matter of race, it is a matter of corruption, there a millions of white people who mimic the behavior of blacks.  Flat bill hats, baggy pants, and Air Jordans, as far as I’m concerned we should get rid of them too.  Conformity is not an option.  This is American, not wonderland.  You follow our rules, or you get out; whites are done conforming to the beliefs of Muslims and Mexicans who don’t even belong here.

Veterans Day

Should there be murder charges in a war?  Should you eat clay bricks?  See the connection?  Both of these are absolutely ridiculous questions and the answer is no.  Murder charges in a war scenario are completely ridiculous; if you don’t want civilian casualties then don’t wage war.  Unfortunately soldiers are paid to kill, so now we are going to get upset because they are doing their job to well?  “Okay guys, here is how it’s going to work; the Taliban is going to be wearing skirts and sombreros and you all will be wearing nothing but cowboy boots and a smile so there is no mistaking who is who. “  If it worked out like that I could understand why there would be murder charges in war, but it isn’t fairy land, things don’t work that way.  When a soldier is clearing a building and some jihadi runs at him with a rolled up newspaper do you honestly think he is going to take the time to see what the man who is advancing towards him has?  No, there is simply not enough time, mistakes are made, but at the end of the day it is war and it is kill or be killed.  It is not a place for hugs, kisses, and rainbows; it is bloody, sad, and unforgiving.  To all of the peace and brown rice people out there who are imprisoning soldiers for doing their job, shove off.

It is said that “Citizenship is a duty, not a privilege” I am under the impression this was a thing when America was still a great, strong country.  Now, it is neither a privilege nor a duty, it is a chore.  Americans now are shameful when they tell people from other countries where they are from, and that is sad.  This country has fell apart, granted it’s not the worst and that is why people keep immigrating, but it is not even remotely close to what it used to be.  Immigrants always hear about what a fantastic country this is and were poorly informed, because they had the American fantasy 10 years before the country turned into a disaster.

                Throughout history racism has always played part in determining who will be at the top and who will be at the bottom.  This “food chain” was obviously passed on making people wonder; is racism a learned behavior or is it a western idea?  It is believed racism is a learned behavior, I challenge that. Every person in the world hopes to succeed; they hope to do better than someone; which leads to wanting to be better than someone.  Of course this develops into a full-fledged mentality that convinces you that you are truly better than someone else.  Even the least racist people want to succeed and when they don’t reach the goal they hoped for they blame, and hate, and resent whoever is standing in their way when all the smoke clears.  Sometimes it is a majority whom you are angry with, and sometimes it’s the minority which always leads to racism and racial strain. 

                Is racism a western idea?  Are you ignorant or just plain stupid?  In ancient Rome people of the same ethnicity were enslaved, along with blacks, Mexicans, Asians, they didn’t care if you were pink, green, purple, or yellow.  Yes, America did enslave blacks, but there is reasoning behind it, and it’s very simple, the Irish were too stubborn, the Asians were too small, and the blacks were workhorses.  The blacks had better stamina, muscle tone, and heat adaptability, and were the obvious choice for working in a cotton field all day.  It wasn’t because of their color it was because of their use.  However, tomato, tomatoe, ketchup, whatever, it was still wrong.  The west however was the first culture to put a name on the prejudice of minorities.  What causes it you are probably wondering?  Fear, people fear the unknown, just as they fear what is out of their control.  Imagine walking down the street and seeing a purple, elf looking thing, you would be a little scared, shocked, and very judgmental.  It was no different in the beginning of racism.  A white society who has never seen a colored individual before is going to behave like children and that is exactly what they did.  But is it honestly racism or it just a copout word?  I hate white people and I’m white and that is alright, but if I hate black people or Mexicans it is racist.  Can you not hate everyone equally?  Why does it always have to be a race hate accusation?  If I hate one black because he has given me reason and don’t mind blacks as a whole is that still racism?

                Of course there are those who like to live in the past, saying things like “My great granddads brother-uncle hated the blacks.  It’s in my blood to hate them too.”  No….You are just a moron.   Just like the whites there are many blacks who like to think we owe them something.  Yes, it was wrong, yes we are sorry, here is an apology and a handshake.  We aren’t going to build you a golden statue.  Don’t like our truce?  Then leave.  Just because someone came to their senses and decided it was wrong doesn’t mean we owe you material items, how about a friendship with other races.

                Racism has to be some sort of a learned behavior, people are not born into being racists, they are raised to hate a specific group with no knowledge of why.  This is where the belief that is it a western belief.  Americans saw someone of different color and judged them because of it, and from there their children saw this behavior and mimicked it, and so on and so forth.  Today’s generation is attempting to break the cycle, being as acceptable and racially diverse as possible.  Every country in the world has used people of different ethnicity and even similar to accomplish difficult tasks that were too much to finish by their selves.  Increasing intelligence has made great contributions in racial awareness to every group not necessarily just blacks but to people of different sexualities and religions as well.  Claiming racism is a western idea is completely ridiculous, how many new groups have came into existence in the past 20 years?  Homosexuals are accepted, Satanists are accepted and political activists are accepted.  America is a very accepting culture and to put a label on the country as a whole saying everyone, rather than a small group, is racist.

                Believe it or not racism is still going on today just in a different form.  We are all slaves, we all do as we are told for the betterment of this entire country.  The government is the “Master” and we are the “Slaves” if you don’t think so just stop paying your taxes.  The government will reclaim your land which you paid for, take your house which you paid for, they will take everything you own because we are the grunts and they are the boss and they will do as they please.  You work every day for money you have to use to work more, you must buy food, gas, clothing, housing, and transportation, which all goes back to the government so they can give it back to you to temporarily use THEIR assistance.

                To make the previous statement even worse the school system is laid out to be a preparation for the workforce, an 8 hour day with 3 breaks, an authoritarian system, a punishment system, and a designated area you must be.  This represents the real world, work, jail, and police.  Your classes are your job, the principal’s office is the jail, and the teachers are the police.  It is structured this way to teach conformity and a strong drive to work.  After your 13 years of attending school you will receive a diploma (retirement) similar to what will happen when you are finished with your work career.  You may be wondering how exactly this ties in with racism, well ponder on it for a moment.  You are forced to go to school, you are forced to abide by the rules, and you are forced to pass every class.  Racism isn’t just a western idea; we are all slaves we just don’t know it yet.

Welfare Problems

Welfare programs have to be one of the worse ideas in American history.  So let me get this straight I am to pay taxes so the government can give it to lazy, useless individuals for their entire life?  Oh, I’d like to sign up for that.  SAID NO ONE EVER!  This shows just how ridiculous our government is, they say “To hell with” those people who really need help and bend over backwards for those who are not disabled at all they are just lazy.  Rigorous background checks, drug tests, and questionnaires should play a part in an individual receiving welfare.  Instead it is handed out like fudge bars at a Popsicle stand, money being traded for drugs, alcohol, and with no return to the government what-so-ever.  The welfare programs keep handing out money while the receivers keep being lazy bums mooching off of every hard working American, good thing for them we are gracious enough not to buck the government and burn Obama’s house down.  Honestly I wonder where these individuals would be without a monthly handout, dead?  In Prison?  Who cares; if you cannot contribute to making a society great than you have no right to be a part of it.

Sociology LoF

Ever wondered in the event of being left to your own devices without any outside influence what would happen?  Would you change your personality to survive? Or would you truly become another person. In Lord of the flies a group of children are stranded on an island and quickly turn into 10 year old savages.  This isn’t all just fiction and bs, every human being has a compelling desire to act out and do as they wish, and it is simply human nature to act like a savage.  In the event of chaos and laws are no longer being enforced people will begin to steal the for sake of survival, then someone has something the other needs so one is killed for resources, then boredom strikes so people pillage, raid, burn buildings just because they have the urge.  Human beings are controlled savages, we are taught from a young age what is acceptable and what is not but my biggest question is who the hell decides?  Who gave them the right to decide what the rest of the human race “Should” do?  Civilized behavior and being a savage is based solely off of societal norms, if this is was what your culture believed it would be an everyday thing, someone would get their head chopped off and you wouldn’t even bat an eyelash. Why, because that would be the norm. The only reason people don’t act like this now is to avoid persecution from the “enforcers” that NO ONE seemed to agree to them being there.  No outside influence and savage tendencies would definitely set survival of the fittest back into motion.  Without laws the weak would quickly be eliminated by disease, and by those who have a stronger will to live, and that is the only reason chaos and savagery aren’t just called the norm.

I chose the 1st and the 2nd Amendments because in my belief are some of the most important.

The first amendment is the belief that you have a certain set of freedoms, speech, religion, press, etc. “Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church & State. Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.”  Every United States Citizen has a certain set of god given rights, these rights cannot be infringed by the government without committing treason to ones own country.

This amendment basically gives an individual the right to express themselves in the way they choose without being discriminated against for it. 

                The Second Amendment and probably my personal favorite, gives an individual the right to bear arms and assemble a militia.  Assembling a militia can literally be used to overthrow a corrupt government similar to our own.  This amendment also gives individuals the right to own guns and display them openly being perfectly within the law. 

Card Games..

At the start of todays class we played a card game, which seemed harmless, but to our surprise everyone received different rules and guidelines for said game.  This proved to be very stressful and was used to represent the struggles of interacting with those from another country, who's culture and beliefs are far different than that of our own.  This oddly enough gave an excellent representation of sociological difficulties and was actually very fun to take part in.

I am not really sure how to say what needs to be said without sounding like a racist, but Saudi countries are incapable of surviving without outside interference.  Bacha Bazi is a perfect representation of this, we leave them alone for 5 minutes and they are having sexual relations with little boys and keeping them as sex slaves.  This culture is absolutely sick.  Rape, incest, human trafficking, and American soldiers are forced to turn a blind eye?  Every other country has their nose in America's business why can't we intervene when it is needed?  What needs to be lacking from an individual's morality to do the things listed?  A lack of understanding between right and wrong, or a flaw in genetic coding? Neither.  It is the acceptable aspects of day to day life in Saudi countries.  Everything goes, anything is acceptable, the only law I have ever heard of that is actually punishable is stealing. 
I think that country would make a nice harbor.. maybe a beach.  Anyway, American soldiers couldn't do anything to stop child molesters due to orders from "higher ups" (who deserve to be hanged for that.) Fire and Brimstone is the simplest way to correct such atrocities.  Severity is the answer.  Incest, Rape, Murder, cannibalism, child molestation, should never be tolerated and anyone caught doing these acts should be piled up in the street and burned like cord wood for all to see.  I'm sure it would only take a handful of wrong-doers to start to understand what the message was.
But I'm just an ignorant Hillbilly, what do I know right? "The world needs a reset button, fixing the atrocities, and vendetta's of man is just the start of retribution."

Individualists

Being an individualist is completely out of the question in our country you must conform or basically get out.  We are allowed to do what the government says we are.  By forcing society to conform the co-dependence turns into unity which is a lot easier to control than 2 billion people with different beliefs and mindsets.  Being "naturally individualist" is a learned behavior that is picked up from those who do not fear our government, they will not conform and they belief the unification of this country will be its downfall.  Dependence is exactly what the government wants, because you can't get rid of what you need.

Macro vs Micro

When we look at both micro and macro sociology, we can identify differences as well as similarities. Both of these fields are very important subject areas in Sociology. Also, they analyze the human behavior in the society in different angles. Both micro and macro-sociological theories can be applied to individual interactions. 
Macro sociology is more concerned with broad topics such as war, and gender equality as opposed to micro sociology which focuses on specific face to face interactions.

Ethics in Today's World

Do ethics still matter?  This question made me chuckle, the answer to this is NO.  In today's world people are so self absorbed, and egotistic that ethics are the last thing on their mind.  Morality despite popular believe, should play a big part in interaction because morality helps define people, breaking the codes of human complexity, showing their true colors even when they didn't mean for you to see.  To some individuals, who still have sense, and a shed of intelligence know the importance of ethics.  Unfortunately many could care less how their actions effect those around them, have no understanding of the harm their lies cause.  The question that needs to be asked is "Should Ethics Matter?"

Sociology #1

Today in sociology I watched a video that taught the importance of sociological mindfulness.  This basically means putting yourself in someone else's shoes to see things from their perspective.  In this video a man talked about an Iraqi's view on the war versus an American's.  They are actually fairly similar when you truly put yourself in their shoes.  Both parties have good intentions and want what is best for their families.
Unfortunately very few people take the time to see things from others perspective and even when they do they care so little about another's life nothing changes.  The world is full of self-absorbed, egotistical, sadistic, morons who shoe absolutely no regard for human life.  Some still live by the believe that it is survival of the fittest, which I can understand to a point, but somewhere a line must be drawn and sociological mindfulness needs to implemented into our everyday life.
In my life I can count several instances where sociological mindfulness benefited me, for instance.  Once when I was 13 my cousin borrowed my dirt bike without permission and wrecked it.  I was absolutely livid, I somehow managed to see things from his perspective when he explained to me his intentions.  Granted I was still mad, but not nearly as much after hearing things from his point.
Sociological mindfulness and patience both play a huge part in everyday life, and hopefully I see myself fitting into the world as a normal, functional member of society.
